Senate Minority Leader Bill Cadman memorializes Ted Strickland the former Senate president, lieutenant governor, gubernatorial candidate and state Republican icon, he sadly died Wednesday. He was 79.
This bill creates a legislatively appointed task force to study the cost of regulatory compliance for businesses in Colorado subject to Colorado's regulatory system.
Senate Bill 26, sponsored by Senate Republican Leader Bill Cadman, R-Colorado Springs, prohibits state agencies from crafting rules that force unnecessary and costly mandates on local governments. The bill reflects a recently instituted executive order from Governor Hickenlooper.

During Senate Minority Leader Bill Cadman's presentation to the members of CACI he discussed the issue of federalism. In his remarks he stated, "Federalism is not a partisan issue. Federalism is a survival issue at the state level."
